I am a former employee of Hokuetsu Corporation.
[Name withheld by request].
I have just seen your campaign and as a former employee, I sympathize with you.
The current president, Mr. Kishimoto, is a one-man president and the board members are a group of yes-men, none of whom are allowed to express their opinions.
The president is self-disciplined and his personal greed is so fierce that he has made up his own rules for betting on golf and mahjong, where he extort money not only from the executives of Hokuetsu but also from the management of the business agencies. He is extorting tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of yen through betting on golf.
Hokuetsu will be assigning an executive director for the first time in a long time, but until now Mr. Kishimoto have decided on management compensation by himself, and have continued to monopolize the company.
We employees were forced to take one hour shorter labour hours and had our salaries cut by 15%, under the name of 2021 Short-Term Workshare.
This has also resulted in the retirement of approximately 15% of the factory's employees, making each person's workload busier for those who remained.
Mr. Kishimoto was unable to predict that earnings would recover in the second half of FY2021, the company decided to sell assets, selling private land in Kansai and a building in Tokyo that it did not have to sell.
I do not see any managerial future at all.
There is much more to say.
We are looking forward to Oasis' victory at this June 29 shareholders' meeting.
From a former Hokuetsu employee.
